Cairo Travel Guide
Nile you see it, Nile you don’t... (sorry)
Last week, my husband Jon and I were invited to Cairo for the grand opening of Anut, a new lifestyle shop. It was a three-day event packed with all sorts of exciting experiences, but the most exciting event was the after-hours party at the Museum of Antiquities, with food by Laila Gohar. Let’s be honest, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we just HAD to go.
Cairo is a city unlike any other I’ve experienced - It was honestly like stepping back in time. There is such a raw energy to the city - bursting with creativity, culture, and edge. The city is constantly buzzing (car horns beeping ALL the time) and filled with people from all over the world calling it home. The ancient history flows through the heart of its streets, there’s never a dull moment. It’s one of those places that puts the wind in your sails, everything is constantly unfolding right in front of you.
